A common request from homeowners when remodeling their bathroom is to maximize natural light in the space. Expanding the size of existing windows or adding new windows are great options to increase the natural light in a space. Transom windows work well to add above existing windows or even by adding a small transom high in the shower. Casement windows are available in many sizes and work well if you want to be able to open the windows for more air flow. More options to consider include skylights, windows above bathtubs, windows in showers, windows on the sides of the vanity, and windows above toilets. When you’re ready to remodel, make sure to work with an expert designer and trusted general contractor to guide you through the best placement of new or expanded windows for your space to maximize the available natural light.
Cheers!
